PADUCAH - In this week's Help Wanted, we're tracking a shortage in a job force you may not know much about: Medical Coding.
It's an important position. Medical coders translate all your medical details into codes, which are then used by insurance companies to determine how much they reimburse a doctor's office or hospital. Those codes are also used to analyze how effectively certain ailments are being treated.
