Providers, IT vendors in ICD-10 gridlock
Vendor readiness for ICD-10 is one of the many persisting questions that medical groups have to deal with and even though we’ve been at the 1-year-left mark before, this time around is no different.
It’s a complex matter, too. Providers of all sizes are essentially bootstrapped until their vendors make upgrades with requisite changes such as fields for 7-digit codes.
