TheICD-10transition was a topic of much discussion at the 2014AHIMA Convention last week, and there was just as much optimism as sunshine in San Diego during the show. Health information management (HIM) professionals are at the core of the complicated code switch, currently scheduled for October 1, 2015, and the meeting confirmed the general feeling that the industry should just get on with it already.
