Off the heels of the release of results from the most recent Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) ICD-10 readiness survey, the Healthcare Administrative Technology Association (HATA) has launched a similar survey of its own, association Executive Director Tim McMullen announced this week.
The HATA survey will query practice management systems vendors regarding their readiness.
“Practice management systems are a vital component in the transition to ICD-10,” McMullen said. “This is the first time in which data just on practice management system vendors (and) their ICD-10 readiness has been gathered.”
